Gooding & Company Sells 50 Cars In Scottsdale On Day 1 – $14.2 Million In Sales, 3 New Records

Barrett-Jackson may be the auction house responsible for getting the Scottsdale auction scene to the level it is today, but all the major players have been adding their own flair to make each year bigger and bigger.

This year saw Gooding & Co. arrive with 58 cars with 50 finding new homes. The 86% sell-through rate resulted in $14.2 million in sales and three new world records. These include:

  • A world auction record for a Porsche 904, the 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS at $1.045 Million
  • A world auction record for a Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc, the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc Roadster at $660,000
  • A world auction record for a Ferrari FXX, the 2006 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at $2.09 Million

2006 Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at $2.09 Million
1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS at $1.045 Million
1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV at $990,000
1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing at $858,000
1995 Ferrari F50 at $814,000
