Murcielago Successor Gets Pushrod Suspension

In what is a first for a series production Lamborghini, the Murcielago’s successor (Jota/Avetador..) will be equipped with pushrod suspension inspired by Formula 1. The new pushrod design will be coupled with aluminum double-wishbone suspension and carbon ceramic brakes.

Necessary when navigating urban environments, the new Lambo will continue to be fitted with hydraulic lifts allowing the front to be raised 40mm to get in and out (or over) pesky situations without scuffing up your new toy.

The new flagship runs on 19″ rims fitted to 255/35 tires up front and 20″ wheels wrapped in 335/30 in the rear.

In short, the all-new Lamborghini really will be all-new. It will join the also all-new Ferrari Four and Pagani C9/Huarya at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Follow the jump for the complete press release.
