Pagani Huayra

In what resembles a constant stream of highly romanticized establishing shots worthy of Hollywood’s best, Pagani has released this gorgeous video of its newest ware, the all-new Huayra. Unfortunately, the sound accompanying the video lacks anything generated by the vehicle itself, shorting us all from reveling in the roar from the Huayra’s AMG-sourced V12.

Unveiled just this morning, here is the first video of Pagani’s all-new Huayra – a bit of poking around the car before we get a listen to it already running and an unnamed individual giving it a few high revs. We’re liking it more and more already. [Source: YouTube]

[/caption] Pagani has finally taken the wraps of its new Huayra and has revealed the new hypercar in full production guise. Some may not be crazy about the addition of gullwing doors or its nose resembling that of a bottom-feeder, but the rear 3/4 shot certainly invokes a number of positive fish-like qualities. The absence of a rear wing gives the new Pagani an extremely sleek and slippery appearance. The Huayra looks agile yet extremely muscular.

Excerpt: Internally codenamed the ‘C9′, the automotive world has been tracking development of Pagani’s Zonda replacement for quite some time now. Though it’s confirmed to have gullwing doors and is expected to be fitted with a 690 horsepower V12 powerplant, we just now have a hint at what the company’s next supercar may actually be called. Pagani has registered ‘Huayra’ (likely pronounced ‘hue-air-a’) from the native South American language Quechua for the wind of the Andes. Much like Lamborghini’s convention for branding their vehicles after famous bulls, this beings Pagani’s tradition – Zonda is a regional term in Argentina for the foehn…

Pagani Zonda RAK

[/caption] As Pagani works tirelessly on development of its Zonda-replacing C9 hypercar, the company continues to churn out one-off examples for the world’s extremely wealthy. We now have the Zonda RAK which follows the PS, Uno, Tricolore, HH and 750. The Zonda RAK is essentially the same as the five Cinques previously produced by Pagani, but is set apart by its very yellow color scheme – from the body’s exterior to the brake calipers to the understated stitching on the seats. It was commissioned by a a German dealership and is currently offered up at roughly $2.5…

Pagani Zonda 750

[/caption] Pagani has been hard at work on bringing us the Zonda’s successor, currently codenamed the C9, but until that happens the company continues to churn out one-off special editions commissioned by wealthy individuals from around the world. This one, named the 750 (indicative of this version’s horsepower?), has been commissioned by someone in the Middle East who has a particularly large bank account. It is based on the Cinque, but has a custom rear window to accommodate the overhead air intake. While we rather enjoy the HH and even think the Uno’s turquoise finish is intruiging,…
